Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Jarlsberg track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Outspoken Space was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Catchacold started to galop and lost 20 m.




Variety Of Ways saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of S.L. Andrighetto who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Morelon sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Variety Of Ways looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Variety Of Ways kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Variety Of Ways were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Variety Of Ways didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
