One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Vertelsel found a gap and took the lead. Gebbink followed before Crossing Whirlwind.




Vertelsel was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Crossing Whirlwind sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. driver couldn't keep Vertelsel to trotting so they were disqualified.




Gebbink saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Vertelsel started to gallop after 1500m and Kjell Brandt had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Gebbink sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Gebbink sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






No-one could catch Gebbink today who won before Crossing Whirlwind and Vertelsel.
