The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Elwing found a gap and took the lead. Black Sparrow followed before Belegund. Björn Goop wanted a little to much in the start and Black Sparrow galoped for 20 m. I Am Just A Hot Dog was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




Elwing was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Walking Force took the lead rather easily.




Elwing saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Elwing was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Black Sparrow was first on the homestretch followed by Walking Force and Belegund.






Black Sparrow kept the speed the whole finish and won before Walking Force and Belegund.
