The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Bollnäs today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Moonlight Garden. Banalité ended up behind the leader. Lieutenant Boulder got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Punching Ship, Dolf, Light Knight, Verde Smeraldo, Banalité, Shooting Crusher, Moonlight Garden, Sharp Steel.

Sharp Steel looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Shooting Crusher couldn't come out from behind the leader, Punching Ship.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Punching Ship followed by Moonlight Garden and Lieutenant Boulder. Lane two Banalité followed by Shooting Crusher and Sharp Steel.

Sharp Steel was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. With only a little left of the race Verde Smeraldo galoped for 10 m. Moonlight Garden suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Punching Ship was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Ville Karhulahti tried a little too much on the homestretch and Banalité started to galopp and lost 50 m.

Winner of todays race was Moonlight Garden. Lieutenant Boulder came in second. Shooting Crusher became third.
