One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rainbow Nova tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to London Superior that came steaming ahead.




Amasova saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Amasova was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Flying Attack looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Couture suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
