It had been raining for several days at Biri but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hoping Lion took the lead after a very quick start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Hoping Lion started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Hoping Lion was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Spatchcock Chicken looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Spatchcock Chicken galoped for 50 m. Hoping Lion litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Étudier Mon Équitable, 2 Hoping Lion, 3 Port-au-prince Superior.
