One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Heavy Bomb was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Dun Karm Psaila was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m. Aggressive Scout galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. A bird flew just in front of Whatever Sugar who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Malkin Jr looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Perfect Whirlwind couldn't come out from behind the leader, Heavy Bomb.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Heavy Bomb followed by Perfect Whirlwind and Whatever Sugar. Lane two Malkin Jr followed by Dun Karm Psaila and Aggressive Scout.




Heavy Bomb kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Malkin Jr was first on the homestretch followed by Heavy Bomb and Perfect Whirlwind.






Heavy Bomb won the race after a spectacular finish.
