One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pouvoir found a gap and took the lead. Carlsbad Gap followed before Sliding Striker.

Pouvoir looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sliding Striker couldn't come out from behind the leader, Carlsbad Gap.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Carlsbad Gap today. It continued in the lead.



Pouvoir suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Pouvoir kept the speed the whole finish and won before Sliding Striker and Carlsbad Gap.
