Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Romme track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Kleine. Boiteau ended up behind the leader. Souvenir De Amour got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Melbourne Superior sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Boiteau galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.

Kleine suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

driver couldn't keep Slow Plan to trotting so they were disqualified.




Kleine kept the speed the whole finish and won before Melbourne Superior and Souvenir De Amour.
