The sun was shining on Oviken today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Farbror Blå could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Troubling Sapphire started to galop and lost 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Melissa, Hotel California, Gorgeous Garden, Falling Pain, Rantaa Ruunti Riingen, Farbror Blå, Bright Red, Uptown Downtown. Troubling Sapphire started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Hotel California took the lead rather easily. Troubling Sapphire suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Hotel California was still in the lead after 1500m.



Rantaa Ruunti Riingen suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Bright Red won. Uptown Downtown came in second. Hotel California caught third place.
