One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Uptown Downtown was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. A bird flew just in front of Poirot Hof who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Poirot Hof took the lead after 1000m. Hoping Lion didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Poirot Hof was still in the lead after 1500m.



Poirot Hof looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Poirot Hof. The One To Sing The Blues came in second. Hoping Lion became third.
