The sun was shining on Harstad today. A perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Silver Cake sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Sleepy Nugget quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Cool Breeze looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Wondering Galaxy couldn't come out from behind the leader, Sleepy Nugget. Sleepy Nugget was still in the lead after 1500m. Sleepy Nugget sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Sleepy Nugget galopped for 30 m on the homestretch. Silver Cake won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
