One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Light Knight was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Old Cube saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Light Knight sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Holy Ring looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Old Cube started to gallop after 1500m and Eirik Høitomt had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Holy Ring kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Holy Ring kept the speed the whole finish and won before Light Knight and Old Cube.
