Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Kaukonen track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Fell De Sy. Happy Thinking ended up behind the leader. Touchdown C.C. got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Olli Koivunen wanted a little to much in the start and Happy Thinking galoped for 50 m. Damien showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Happy Thinking galloped way to long and was disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Fell De Sy followed by Titanic Magpie and Damien. Lane two Touchdown C.C. followed by Special Artist and Happy Thinking.




Fell De Sy was still in the lead after 2000m.



Touchdown C.C. was first on the homestretch followed by Fell De Sy and Special Artist.






Touchdown C.C. won the race after a spectacular finish.
