The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Lindesberg this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Nielsen found a gap and took the lead. Punching Printer followed before Holy Wave. Linchpin showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




Just Mountain quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Just Mountain clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Melbourne Superior accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Melbourne Superior looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






No-one could catch Melbourne Superior today who won before Holy Wave and Nielsen.
