One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Crossing Baby tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Wild Needle that came steaming ahead.




Alkmaar saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Alkmaar was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Dallas Cowboy suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.




Arwen Pegasos looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. driver couldn't keep Alkmaar to trotting so they were disqualified. Uncle Buzzy started to gallop after 1500m and Lutfi Kolgjini had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Arwen Pegasos sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Intelligent Box galop. Intelligent Box lost 40 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Alkmaar galop. Alkmaar lost 50 m.




Arwen Pegasos didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
