Start List
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Tiny Band found a gap and took the lead. Confident Piece followed before Pignotti.
This is the positions after 500m. Pignotti, Running Bandwagon, Rex Francorum, Tiny Band, Hansen, Confident Piece, , .
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Pignotti followed by Tiny Band and Running Bandwagon. Lane two Confident Piece followed by Rex Francorum and Hansen.
Confident Piece suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
Tiny Band made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Confident Piece.
