The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Arvika this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Devine Dancer sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Devine Dancer suddenly started to galop. Eirik Høitomt had to struggle to get Devine Dancer to tror again and succeded after 30 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Devine Dancer was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Silkeborg looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Silkeborg kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Silkeborg was disturbed and gallopped for 10 m.




Silkeborg was safely in the lead after 2500m. Devine Dancer gallopped 40 m after 2500m.



Silkeborg kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Devine Dancer sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
