The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Mariehamn today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Breathing Heroine was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Pointe Fibre was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Pointe Fibre sprinted to the front.




Galanda sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Galanda sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Galanda were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Winner of todays race was Galanda. Pointe Fibre came in second. Breathing Heroine became third.
