It had been raining for several days at Årjäng but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Shy Satellite was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Sleeping Cookie quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Nassau Hof sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Fraser galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.
