The sun was shining on Åmål today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gorgeous Girl took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Okinawa Superior, Moonlight Wind, New One, Gorgeous Girl, Focused Ship, Inside Information, Loyal Star, .




The leader got disturbed by something and New One took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one New One followed by Okinawa Superior and Gorgeous Girl. Lane two Moonlight Wind followed by Inside Information and Loyal Star. Okinawa Superior galloped for 10 m.




New One didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



New One kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Moonlight Wind won. Okinawa Superior came in second. Gorgeous Girl caught third place.
