One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Souvenir De Amour was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Seductive Runaway, Souvenir De Amour, Flaming Queen, Starstruck Diva, Moonlight Wind, Jumping Twister, Singing Fiesta, Floating Sun.




Flaming Queen took the lead after 1000m. Souvenir De Amour didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Flaming Queen followed by Starstruck Diva and Seductive Runaway. Lane two Souvenir De Amour followed by Moonlight Wind and Jumping Twister. Seductive Runaway galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Flaming Queen didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Seductive Runaway galloped way to long and was disqualified.



Flaming Queen looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Starstruck Diva galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.




Flaming Queen kept the speed the whole finish and won before Souvenir De Amour and Moonlight Wind.
