One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Offshore Julie. Tempting Sunshine ended up behind the leader. Carlos Joker got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and Overkill sprinted to the front.
Carlos Joker looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Tranquil Venus couldn't come out from behind the leader, Overkill.
Overkill was still in the lead after 1500m. Ruustiina started to gallop after 1500m and Fredrik Linder had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Tranquil Venus was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Overkill looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
