It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Troubling Tropic. Just Stone ended up behind the leader. Trainer Express got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Just Stone was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. Håkan K Persson wanted a little to much in the start and Caradoc galoped for 50 m.




Caradoc quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. La Melodia Di Bellezza galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Ottawa Hof sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Troubling Tropic suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.



Flickering Ballerina sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Trainer Express was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.




Tant Opal sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
