Growing Steel looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Ottawa Superior started to gallop after 1500m and Rikard N Skoglund had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Kitten galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Fighting Action speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Growing Steel made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Aberdeen Angus.
