The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day. In Shock tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to License To Boogie that came steaming ahead. This is the positions after 500m. Coca Cola Magpie, B.Fernandes The Man, Flickering Trap, Jolly Heat, Nuclear Warning, Red Sapphire, My Dilemma, In Shock. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Coca Cola Magpie was still in the lead after 1500m. Red Sapphire galloped way to long and was disqualified. With only a little left of the race Flickering Trap galoped for 20 m. My Dilemma was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Coca Cola Magpie kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Black Momentum was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Coca Cola Magpie kept the speed the whole finish and won before In Shock and License To Boogie. Results
