It had been raining for several days at Bodø but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Narkissos Sunset sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Smuk Handling was still in the lead after 1500m. Gold Pringles sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Smuk Handling never caught up with Narkissos Sunset who won. Gold Pringles came third. Results
