One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Running Wish took the lead after a very quick start. Not A Runner Up was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

Running Wish sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Sleepy Moonlight accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Hilaire showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Running Wish was first on the homestretch followed by Sleepy Moonlight and Pignotti.

Final standings. 1 Pignotti, 2 Sleepy Moonlight, 3 Running Wish.
