The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Årjäng today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Colle found a gap and took the lead. Chapin followed before Force Du Face. Speedy Play showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




Common Raven saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Chapin took the lead after 1000m. Colle didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Chapin today. It continued in the lead.



Chapin sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Colle was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.




Force Du Face sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
