It had been raining for several days at Kausala but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Shy Missile was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Europio Vox started to galop and lost 10 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Amabella sprinted to the front.




Amabella was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. No Mismatch galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Amabella today. It continued in the lead. Europio Vox started to gallop after 1500m and Harri Koivunen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Amabella sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Amabella kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Mika Forss tried a little too much on the homestretch and Amabella started to galopp and lost 20 m.




No Mismatch won the race after a spectacular finish.
