The sun was shining on Pihtipudas and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Nangilima Superior could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Rigoni started to galop and lost 30 m. Dream Vision suddenly started to galop. Tuomas Korvenoja had to struggle to get Dream Vision to tror again and succeded after 20 m.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Midwest Action accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Morsom galloped for 10 m.

Midwest Action kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Nebukadnessar Hof made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Midwest Action.
