One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Soft Touch could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Souvenir De Amour suddenly started to galop. Tapio Perttunen had to struggle to get Souvenir De Amour to tror again and succeded after 50 m.




Monneratte Cherry saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Salsa Caliente took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Salsa Caliente followed by Narkissos Hope and Especial Invitado. Lane two Bogart followed by Soft Touch and Souvenir De Amour.



Salsa Caliente were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Bogart made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Soft Touch.
