One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fer À Cheval could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Ringayen started to galop and lost 30 m.




Under Pressure quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Merci Encore sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Fer À Cheval accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Fer À Cheval kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Merci Encore litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Merci Encore today who won before Fer À Cheval and Ringayen.
