The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Turbo Speed. Kunzo ended up behind the leader. Golden Glide got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Golden Glide was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Golden Glide sprinted to the front. Golden Glide was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Hansen sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Turbo Speed saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Turbo Speed didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Golden Glide speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Turbo Speed was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.




Kunzo never caught up with Golden Glide who won. Hansen came third.
