The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Portable Space. Koskelo ended up behind the leader. Real Deal Steel got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Portable Space was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




Bold Cake saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Bold Cake clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Portable Space looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Real Deal Steel was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Speeding Body was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Niogret was first on the homestretch followed by Portable Space and Koskelo.






Koskelo sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
