The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Halmstad this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Barefoot Thought was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Donkey On Fire sprinted to the front.

Barefoot Thought took the lead after 1000m. Foxy Lady didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Donkey On Fire accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Polished Gentleman galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Barefoot Thought litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Horn Hazard, 2 Ryans Law, 3 Shooting Pain.
