One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Advanced Power was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Criminal Mind Jr was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




Shark Attack saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Criminal Mind Jr who started to galop and lost 30 m. Rainbow Nova started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Cuadrado started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Shark Attack was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.
