The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

Slow Panther was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Ulf Ohlsson wanted a little to much in the start and Slow Panther galoped for 10 m.

Kopniaeff saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Criminal Diamond took the lead after 1000m. Stravinskij didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Margherita was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Waving Madame galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Shooting Wolf galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

With only a little left of the race Waving Madame galoped for 20 m. Fosbury Flop took the lead after 1000m. Miami Hof didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Miami Hof won. Fosbury Flop came in second. Slow Panther caught third place.
