One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Strong Boulder could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Strong Boulder was in fine shape and held the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Smiling Drama took the lead rather easily. Strong Boulder galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Smiling Drama today. It continued in the lead.




Smiling Drama didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Smiling Drama looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Quent made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Strong Boulder.
