The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.





Vernik could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Backstabbing Velvet suddenly started to galop. Tom Horpestad had to struggle to get Backstabbing Velvet to tror again and succeded after 30 m.

Backstabbing Velvet sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Backstabbing Velvet followed by Super Ace and Sciocchetti. Lane two Vernik followed by Clever Night and Il Ragazzo.



With only a little left of the race Backstabbing Velvet galoped for 50 m. Vernik was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Super Ace litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Sciocchetti never caught up with Super Ace who won. Clever Night came third.
