One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dark Orbit was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Dark Orbit was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Slow Striker looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Lord Mckenzie couldn't come out from behind the leader, Dark Orbit.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Dark Orbit today. It continued in the lead.




Dark Orbit kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Slow Striker was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Dark Orbit sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Just Runner galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Slow Striker kept the speed the whole finish and won before Dark Orbit and Lord Mckenzie.
