One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Nimrod was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Bol Blizzard saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Old Comet looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Eternal Blossom couldn't come out from behind the leader, Bol Blizzard.

Old Comet accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Comfortable Stone took the lead. Sad Lizard was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m.

Comfortable Stone kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
