One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Sleepy Moonlight. Impatient Madame ended up behind the leader. London Hof got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Sleepy Moonlight was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Screaming Lizard galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Smoother Then Ever saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Impatient Madame started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. De Bruijn was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Brown Stereo sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Sleepy Moonlight to trotting so they were disqualified.

London Hof looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

London Hof sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

London Hof didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
