It had been raining for several days at Arvika but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Axelle Dark could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Olav Mikkelborg wanted a little to much in the start and Monday Stardust galoped for 50 m.




Loving Witch saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Loving Witch followed by Starstruck Fiesta and Ringayen. Lane two Chadman Drumstick followed by Axelle Dark and Front Bullet.




Loving Witch was still in the lead after 2000m.



Loving Witch sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Starstruck Fiesta sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
