One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Estrella was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Born Against saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Estrella looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Expensive Stardust couldn't come out from behind the leader, Born Against.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Born Against today. It continued in the lead.




Born Against kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Born Against looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Expensive Stardust sprinted over the finishline before Estrella and Born Against.
