One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Steel Folder sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Crossing Daffodil was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




Steel Folder was in fine shape and held the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Hard Ship was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Crossing Daffodil galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Steel Folder today. It continued in the lead.




Starshine Maid put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Steel Folder gallopped 50 m after 2000m.



Brave Trooper litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Brave Trooper didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
