The sun was shining on Karlshamn today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tripping Raspberry could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Beetle Peaks suddenly started to galop. Robin Swedberg had to struggle to get Beetle Peaks to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Beetle Peaks, Passionate Stardust, Geneviève, Opposing Galaxy, Tripping Raspberry, Funky Box, Mad Galaxy, Called Juicy.




Geneviève took the lead after 1000m. Called Juicy didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Funky Box accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Geneviève gallopped for 30 m.




Called Juicy suddenly took over the lead.



Called Juicy sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Funky Box won the race after a spectacular finish.
