The weather had been good all week and Färjestad was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Pecan Pie. Old Bomb ended up behind the leader. Frozen Runner got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Tiny Lion sprinted to the front. Rebellious Lieutenant started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Old Bomb looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Giant Victory couldn't come out from behind the leader, Tiny Lion.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Tiny Lion followed by Pecan Pie and Thibaud. Lane two Old Bomb followed by Giant Victory and Sneaking Candy.



Pecan Pie speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Pecan Pie kept the speed the whole finish and won before Thibaud and Giant Victory.
