The sun was shining on Bjerke and it was a perfect day for trotting.

The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

Basket Case was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Sleepy Spring saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Substance Élégante sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Substance Élégante followed by Gargoyle and Flying Snake. Lane two Basket Case followed by Dead Satellite and Sleepy Spring. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Dead Satellite gallopped for 20 m.

Dead Satellite was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Basket Case suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Basket Case didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
