One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Rebellious Lieutenant could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Redemtion C.C. saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Redemtion C.C. was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Becker won. Chattanooga came in second. Redemtion C.C. caught third place.
